Phx-DoveValley

Dove Valley Ranch Golf Club

33750 North Dove Lakes Drive Cave Creek, AZ 85331
Website

the spectacularly scenic Dove Valley Ranch in Cave Creek is as close to a country club as public courses get. Throw in a one-of-a-kind saloon stop and you have one of the most memorable days of golf in Arizona. Course architect Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed Dove Valley Ranch to be a near-perfect mix of challenge and playability. He built a series of bunkers to blend into the land, but also provided a lot of large landing and bailout areas.

Dove Valley also sits on historic land. As early as A.D. 300, the Hohokam people lived on the very same land the golf course sits on today. These people were known as the first farmers of the southwest. In fact, shards of clay pottery have been found by golfers searching in the surrounding desert for errant balls. The beautiful clubhouse also has its display of relics as well.
