Phoenix

The Valley of the Sun is a bustling, dynamic place to call home and growth in the first half of the decade has been staggering. While the economic downturn has been felt strongly, especially in real estate, the relatively low cost living and excellent real estate value continues to draw new residents and businesses to the region.

For those who like to live where they work and play, the North Central and historic districts in and around the downtown Phoenix area fit the bill nicely. Although there are a few pockets of newer developments in these areas, older homes ripe with character are the rule. Housing opportunities range from cozy bungalows to grand-scale estates – from “fixer-uppers” to completely renovated treasures – and everything in between. In addition to the fabulous location, homebuyers are often drawn to these areas by the architectural diversity, a strong sense of community and trees that began to grow long before Arizona became a state.
